Before you post a new photo, take a look at your existing photos and see what you’ve posted lately. If you’ve just uploaded a new selfie, don’t go posting another, this will look repetitive no matter how cute they are. Or if you’re wearing the same outfit, try to spread out the posts over time.
3 – Organise Your Pictures
Taken lots of new pictures lately ready to post on Instagram? Organise them and pick out the best photos that you’d like to post. Since you’ve now decided on a theme, it’s time to go ahead and edit them. Doing your edits ahead of time helps in getting organised. 4 – Add Photos To Your Drafts
Before uploading to Instagram, lay your photos out on a grid to see how they all look next to each other. If one doesn’t look right next to another then move them around until they fit.
5 – Use Filler Photos
Posting daily, or at least every other day is recommended for an active Instagram account. But what if you don’t have enough photos to post that frequently? That’s where filler photos come in. These are just photos that you pull from the internet, or other Instagram profiles. They could be quotes, holiday destinations, clothing items, you name it! You can also make your own filler photos.
6 – Save Your Captions
Now that you have your photos all planned out, what’s the caption going to be? Start a new notes section on your phone or Google docs with a list of captions suitable for your posts. This not only saves time, but allows you to post without having to stress about what caption you’re going to put. Have at least 5 saved in advance as some might not work for some photos, but will others.
7 – Stick To Your Niche
It’s important to stick to your niche for a consistent Instagram profile. Selecting 3-5 topics that you’ll regularly post about is perfectly fine. Having your topics selected will make it easier when it comes to writing captions, and planning your layout to create the perfect Instagram feed.
