New to Instagram? We’ll show you how to post a photo or video to your Instagram feed. Share your latest content for your followers to see and appreciate.
If you haven’t already, you’ll need to download the latest Instagram app to your mobile device. Then either log in or set up a new account.
Once logged in click the + at the bottom of the screen.
Next you can either select an image or video from your phone library, or capture some new content within the app itself.
Once selected click next. You can then edit your content adding preset Instagram filters, or click the edit option and add your own effects. The powerful Instagram photo editor allows you to make a number of adjustments, such as brightness, contrast, structure, warmth, saturation and many more.
Once you are happy with the photo or video click next. You can then write a caption for your followers to see, add a location, tag friends or business if they appear in the photo. There are also options to share to other social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr.
Finally you are ready to share your first Instagram photo or video. Click the share button and your new post will upload. It will then appear on your feed along with your followers feeds.
Now all that’s left to do is for your followers to start liking and commenting on your new Instagam post.
